THE SPACE OF ENCOUNTER

THE SPACE OF ENCOUNTER
- INSPIRED BY BOOK&BED HOTEL TOKYO -
- PROJECT OF 3RD YEAR INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE STUDENT -

The aim of the project is to design a flexible and social space that can adapt to different situations by keeping the human - space relationship in the foreground, instead of defined areas such as the usual reception - lobby for entrance - welcome - waiting functions.

- THE COVER -
The concept of 'The Cover' emerged through books, the covers of the books, the content of the books. There is a 'Cover' around the books as we see them from the outside. This 'Cover' both hides the content of the book and allows us to have some idea about its content.

With these features, it has a semi-transparent structure. This semi-transparent feature and design geometry was emphasized in the space as well.
